After breakfast, we will visit the Lalgarh Palace.
The Lalgarh Palace was built by Maharaja Ganga Singh in 1902 in the memory of his father Maharaja Lal Singh. It is a stunning Redstone building and an architectural wonder designed by Sir Swinton Jacob. The Palace has a perfect fusion of Mughal, European and Rajput architecture and has a superb collection of paintings and hunting trophies.
We will then visit the Shiv Bari Temple.Â
Located 6 km away from the Bikaner city, the Shiv Bari Temple is devoted to Lord Shiva. It was built in 9th century by Maharaja Doongar Singh in the memory of his father Maharaja Lal Singh. The major attraction of the temple is a captivating wall painting of Nandi bull facing a Shiva Lingam.
We will also visit the Bhandeswari temple devoted to Sumati Nath Ji, the 5th Tirthankar of the Jain Religion.
Bhandeswari temple was built in 15th century, this temple is the oldest monument of Bikaner and is famous for its astonishing gold leaf paintings and mirror work.
Further, we will visit Jain Havelis.
The havelis are the ancient houses of the Kings representing the symbol of their wealth and prosperity of powerful people of the town who are known for their lavish lifestyle. Bikaner is blessed with many such beautiful Havelis.Â
